Nicholas Watts was born in 1947 near Brands Hatch, where his father regularly took him during his childhood. These regular visits to the mythical English circuit clearly had a profound effect on the young Watts. Inhabited by a real artistic talent, he created his very first work dedicated to the automobile by designing a Bugatti Type 37A. He was just 16 years old. Nick’s passion for painting cars then developed very quickly. He joined the RAF for a period of his life and then had the opportunity to attend many great races, including his favorite: the legendary Targa Florio. Nicholas Watts and Jacky Ickx |
