Since 1998, the trio Jacky Ickx, Vincenzo Lancia and Daniele Cotto, three drivers, but above all three great friends organize the Rally of Egypt under the logo JVD International (Jacky-Vincenzo-Daniele).

“The raid is the most interesting formula of recent years and it is still gaining more success. In my opinion, it is destined to develop enormously. More and more people want to try this kind of experience, but few of them have the opportunity to participate in a competition… , so here for them the raid. This year, we will form groups inside the raid in order to select the participants according to their abilities and vehicles: small groups, more united… friendships that are created… living in the desert is like sailing: we discover each other, we discover others, people, it’s wonderful.”
